As we continue to expand into new geographies with several upcoming projects, we are preparing to onboard our future Assistant Manager Legal to support and strengthen our growing global operations. What You Will Do

In this role, you will:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of domestic and international contracts, including service agreements, framework agreements, charter party agreements, MOUs, and consultancy contracts.
  • Provide legal support for complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions and global business operations.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on contract risks, dispute resolution, regulatory compliance, and legal strategy.
  • Liaise with external counsel on international legal issues, disputes, and arbitration matters.
  • Conduct legal research and draft internal legal opinions, policy recommendations, and compliance guidance.
  • Develop contract templates and legal workflows aligned with international standards.
  • Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments (domestic and global) impacting the energy and marine sectors.
  • Mentor junior members of the legal team as required.

What We Are Looking For

  • Law degree with 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in an in-house legal department of a large, diversified organization.
  • Strong expertise in cross-border contracts, international business transactions, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience supporting businesses in the oil & gas, energy, or marine sectors is highly desirable.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership, global clients, and external counsel.
  • Commercially savvy with strong negotiation and drafting skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across geographies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to balance legal risk and business priorities.
