The ideal candidate will have excellent creative thinking skills and be able to create designs based on conversations with a client. The candidate should be confident communicating regularly with the client in order to assess their needs and be able to adjust a given approach based on feedback. The candidate should maintain familiarity with the interior design landscape and trends in order to provide the best ideas for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Meet clients to understand their requirements, lifestyle, and design preferences.
  • Create compelling 2D/3D interior design concepts using software like SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar.
  • Develop mood boards, space planning layouts, and detailed working drawings.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, execution, and factory teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Visit sites as needed for design alignment and project supervision.
  • Stay updated with material trends, color palettes, and modern modular standards.
  • Provide design support during factory visits and project walkthroughs.
  • Assist in BOQ preparation, material selection, and cost optimization discussions.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
  • Proficiency in design tools: SketchUp, AutoCAD, V-Ray, Photoshop, or similar.
  • Strong communication and client-handling skills.
  • Knowledge of modular furniture, and BOQ understanding.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Languages: Kannada is preferred.
