Summary/ Objective

This Job is to be part of strategic team involving M&A, due diligence handling both on the buy and sell sides. Additionally, identifying and analyzing deals, financial analysis, business case and presentations for investment decisions. This position will play a key role in collaborating with CFO, business heads, and FP&A leadership.

Roles and Key KPIs

  1. Supporting in Mergers and Acquisitions, Diligence of acquisition targets, liaise with external service providers such as law firms, market research companies etc.
  2. Support the integration processes of acquisitions for parent company
  3. Supporting fund raising initiatives and represent before investors and sell side due diligence processes and to represent the company's financials health and projections.
  4. Perform company, industry, market/competitor research, followed by professional presentation in PowerPoint/Word/excel, etc.,
  5. Complete understanding & driving the Management Reporting process at segment/Regional/Market/LOB level
  6. Work directly on key specialized tasks such as M&A buyer searches, key facts research, market/industry/economic overview research and analysis, comparable company analysis & transaction analysis
  7. Prepare financial models and provide analytical support for M&A
  8. Preparing and presenting complete financial analysis including Balance sheet analysis, company valuations & financial statements etc.,
  9. Creating Investment Deck for Corporate Investors using Microsoft Suite and other tools.
  10. Creating, updating, and maintaining financial models and detailed forecasts of the company's future operations
  11. Cost/ Profitability analyses of various business and product lines, project and monitor company cash flow and funds flow reports

Competencies

  1. Excellent analytical skills, logical and presentation skills
  2. Sound understanding of financial statements including financial modelling and valuation
  3. Ability to interact with confidence and handle CXOs/ client executives independently
  4. Should be well versed in Microsoft suite and other analytical software & tools
  5. Comfortable working with large data sets, complex pivot / data tables, and excel macros and formulae.
  6. Expertise understanding, analyze and summarize financial data with insightful information in a clear concise manner
  7. Solid communication and interpersonal skills dealing with people at all levels of the organization.
  8. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, process-oriented, and organized with ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliver within tight deadlines.

Preferred Education and skills

  1. Postgraduates in a quantitative discipline (ideally MBA) and/or CA/CPA/CFA/CMA Inter or
  2. Qualified Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting & finance covering accounting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
