Job Summary
As a Backend Developer Intern, you will be involved in designing, developing, testing, and deploying APIs and services that power our core platforms. You'll work with a modern technology stack and gain hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, database systems, and production-grade backend development.

What You Will Do

  • Develop RESTful and asynchronous APIs using Python (FastAPI/Flask)
  • Integrate and manage data with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
  • Use Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration
  • Deploy services using CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments on GCP
  • Work with GCP tools such as BigQuery, Cloud Run, VPC, VM Instances, and Kubernetes
  • Collaborate with frontend and product teams to build robust, scalable systems
  • Troubleshoot and debug backend services in various environments
  • Integrate and leverage AI/ML tools and LLM APIs (e.g., Vertex AI, OpenAI, or similar) to enhance backend capabilities

What We're Looking For

  • Strong proficiency in Python and backend frameworks (FastAPI/Flask)
  • Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with Git/GitHub and collaborative development workflows
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GCP services
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
