Our visual identity is central to building trust, delight, and engagement with students, parents, and counselors. We are seeking a 
Graphic Designer & Illustrator
 who can translate our brand into compelling visuals—ranging from 
3D assets, animated illustrations, marketing creatives, to in-app graphics.

Role Overview

As a 
Graphic Designer & Illustrator
, you will design, illustrate, and animate assets for both 
product UI
 and 
marketing campaigns
. You'll also create and manage 
social media content
 that resonates with students and parents, ensuring ULIO's brand has a strong and relatable presence on 
Facebook and Instagram
.

Key Responsibilities

• Brand Design & Consistency
• Develop and maintain ULIO's visual identity across product, web, social, and print.
• Create style guides, iconography, and design systems that unify the brand.
• Illustration & Motion
• Design custom illustrations (flat, semi-3D, and 3D styles as needed).
• Create 
  animated graphics, motion assets, and explainer visuals
   for use in platform and campaigns.
• Product UI Graphics
• Collaborate with product designers to create UI assets (icons, badges, frames, infographics, onboarding visuals).
• Develop gamified, youth-friendly illustrations for dashboards, rewards, and test-prep modules.
• Marketing & Social Creatives
• Design campaign assets for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn
  .
• Create 
  posts, reels, stories, and ad creatives
   tailored for social platforms.
• Understand 
  content calendars, post scheduling, and engagement optimization
  .
• Occasionally manage 
  posting and coordination
   on ULIO's official 
  FB and Instagram
   pages.
• Collaboration & Execution
• Work with content, marketing, and engineering teams to deliver ready-to-use files.
• Ensure design quality across different resolutions, formats, and platforms.

Desired Skills & Tools

• Strong portfolio of 
  illustrations, branding work, and animations
   (2D & 3D).
• Proficiency in 
  Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects)
  .
• Experience with 
  Figma
   for UI/UX collaboration.
• Knowledge of 
  Blender / Cinema4D / Maya
   for 3D assets (preferred, not mandatory).
• Motion graphics experience with 
  After Effects / Spine / Rive / Lottie animations
  .
• Familiarity with 
  Facebook & Instagram content formats, trends, and posting tools
  .
• Ability to adapt style—flat, minimal, playful, semi-realistic, 3D—depending on context.
• Strong storytelling and ability to translate abstract concepts into engaging visuals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of professional design experience (preferably in EdTech, youth-centric, or digital-first companies).
• Prior exposure to 
  social media content creation and posting workflows
   is highly desirable.
• Passion for 
  education, youth culture, and creative storytelling
  .
