Plant Head Refractory Production

Position Summary:

The Plant Head Refractory Production and Management will be responsible for leading and managing all production-related activities within the refractory manufacturing unit. The role involves strategic planning, process optimization, team leadership, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards to meet production targets and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily refractory production operations to ensure timely and efficient output.
  • Develop and execute production plans aligned with business goals and customer requirements.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards across the plant.
  • Monitor refractory process parameters and ensure consistent product quality.
  • Optimize resource utilization, reduce production costs, and minimize waste.
  • Lead and manage production teams, including supervisors, operators, and technicians.
  • Coordinate with departments such as Quality Control, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and R&D.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives in production processes and technologies.
  • Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Analyze production data and prepare performance reports for senior management.
  • Drive operational excellence through lean manufacturing and process improvement tools.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • 1020 years of experience in refractory or ceramic manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of refractory production processes and materials.
  • Proven experience in production planning, process control, and team management.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
