SEO Manager

Job Summary:

As our next Senior SEO Manager, we are seeking a motivated and skilled SEO expert with 4 years of experience to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will define the SEO strategy for assigned clients, taking into account their specific characteristics and establishing synergies between SEO and other marketing or communication initiatives. You will play a crucial role in optimizing our clients' online presence, driving traffic, and enhancing their search engine rankings.

Responsibilities:

• SEO Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy across on-page, off-page, and technical SEO to improve rankings and organic traffic.

• AI-First SEO Roadmap: Architect an AI-First SEO roadmap by mapping entity gaps, crafting schema (FAQ, Video, Organization), and aligning content clusters with knowledge-graph best practices so Large Language Models (LLMs) can parse and cite us confidently.

• Keyword Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify relevant keywords and optimize website content accordingly.

• On-Page SEO: Optimize website content, including titles, meta descriptions, headers, and image alt text.

• Technical SEO: Ensure website technical health, including website speed, mobile-friendliness, and proper indexing.

• Link Building: Implement effective link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks from authoritative websites.

• Content Strategy: Develop and implement a content strategy to create high-quality, SEO-optimized content.

• SEO Tools Proficiency: Proficient in SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and others.

• Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze website performance and campaign effectiveness using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other relevant tools. Provide regular reports and actionable recommendations.

• Strong Communication Skills: Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, effectively communicating with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering project updates.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, content, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all platforms.

• Data-Driven Insights: Analyze large datasets to assess SEO performance and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Trend Monitoring: Continuously research, test, and apply the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in SEO strategy development and execution, with a proven ability to drive organic traffic growth. (Hands-on experience in eCommerce, FMCG, or beauty/lifestyle sectors preferred).

• Track Record of Success in SEO Growth: Proven track record of delivering measurable SEO performance improvements.

• Technical Expertise: Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools. Strong understanding of technical SEO concepts, including website audits, on-page optimization, and site structure.

• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience leading projects and teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.

• Strong Analytical Abilities: Strong capability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize SEO performance.

• Creative Problem Solving: Ability to think strategically and creatively, offering innovative solutions to SEO challenges and identifying new opportunities.

• Communication & Management Skills: Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.

• Important SEO Certifications: Mandatory SEO certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, Semrush).

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech Graduate or Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.

• MBA degree or equivalent preferred.
