ROLE SUMMARY

This is a full-time on-site role for a Space & Experience Designer at 02JUNE & FEW STEPS AHEAD in New Delhi. The role involves conceptualizing and designing spatial layouts, creating immersive brand experiences, developing communication designs, and implementing brand strategies on various projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

  1. Design & Conceptualization:

  2. Develop innovative and engaging spatial experiences: Create unique and memorable concepts for a variety of projects, including retail spaces, exhibitions, events, and installations.

  3. Conduct thorough research and analysis: Investigate user needs, brand identities, and project requirements to inform design decisions.
  4. Develop creative concepts and presentations: Present design ideas effectively through compelling visuals, mood boards, and presentations to clients and stakeholders.

  5. Explore and implement emerging technologies: Integrate innovative technologies (VR/AR, interactive media, AI) into design solutions to enhance user experiences.

  6. Project Execution & Delivery:

  7. Oversee the design and production process: Manage all phases of the design process, from initial concept to final installation.

  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work effectively with architects, engineers, fabricators, and other relevant professionals.
  9. Ensure project timelines and budgets are met: Manage project resources efficiently and deliver projects on time and within budget.

  10. Maintain high-quality standards: Ensure all deliverables meet the highest quality standards and align with client expectations.

  11. Client Relations & Business Development:

  12. Build and maintain strong client relationships: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs and exceeding their expectations.

  13. Identify and pursue new business opportunities: Actively seek out and pursue new projects and clients to grow the business.
  14. Present design proposals and negotiate contracts: Effectively communicate the value of design solutions to clients and negotiate contracts.

  15. Represent the company at industry events: Network and build relationships within the design community.

  16. Innovation & Professional Development:

  17. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices: Continuously research and learn about new design trends, technologies, and industry best practices.

  18. Develop and refine design skills: Continuously improve design skills through workshops, training programs, and personal projects.
  19. Contribute to the professional development of the team: Mentor junior designers and share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
  20. Explore and develop new design methodologies: Experiment with new design approaches and contribute to the innovation of the design practice.
