Overview: The Site Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. They are responsible for coordinating and supervising construction workers, subcontractors, and vendors, and for maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise construction activities and monitor work progress
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations, and safety standards
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and materials delivery
  • Resolve on-site issues and conflicts to maintain project timelines
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of on-site activities and progress
  • Implement and enforce project-specific safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members
  • Manage on-site personnel and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Oversee and enforce contract terms and specifications
  • Monitor and manage project budget and expenses
  • Participate in project planning and coordination meetings
  • Report on project progress, issues, and milestones to the project manager
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and improvement initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to environmental and sustainability requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a site supervisor or similar role in construction
  • Degree or diploma in construction management, engineering, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for project management
  • Understanding of budgeting and cost control principles
  • Certifications in construction safety and management are preferred
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Strong commitment to quality, safety, and professionalism
