Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Architect/planner at Stratalign Advisors located in Hyderabad. You'll work at the intersection of industrial infrastructure, tourism, and urban development, translating strategy into site-ready master plans, concept designs, and statutory submissions for greenfield/brownfield projects (industrial parks, logistics, hospitality & convention assets, coastal/tourism precincts).

Must-have qualifications & skills

  • B.Arch (mandatory) + PG in Planning (Urban/Regional/Infrastructure/Transport).
  • 2–3 years total experience; at least 1–2 relevant projects in industrial estates/SEZs/logistics or tourism/urban.
  • Tools: AutoCAD, Revit (or equivalent), QGIS/ArcGIS;
  • Strong command over development regulations, bye-laws, and environment/EHS integration in layouts.
  • Excellent visualization & communication (reports, decks, stakeholder maps).

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare concept & detailed master plans (land-use, zoning, road hierarchy, utilities footprints, parceling/plot books).
  • Develop building concepts and site-planning
  • Convert policy/EC norms & byelaws into design controls (setbacks, FAR, height, coverage, fire norms, accessibility).
  • Produce area programs, GFC-ready drawings with engineers; coordinate statutory submissions.
  • Interface with infra/transport/environment consultants; consolidate drawings/specs for DPRs
  • Support stakeholder workshops and client presentations with clear visuals & narratives.
