Position: Software Tester​

Location: Pune, Maharashtra​

Employment Type: Full-Time​

Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Software Tester to join our quality assurance team.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Laravel framework and experience in

manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for ensuring the functionality,

performance, and reliability of our web applications, which are built using Laravel. Your role

will be critical in identifying bugs, issues, and areas for improvement, ensuring our applications

meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

∙Test Planning and Design:

Analyze project requirements and create comprehensive test plans and strategies.

Design, develop, and maintain test cases for both manual and automated testing,

with a focus on Laravel applications.

Identify test scenarios, edge cases, and potential areas of risk.

∙Manual Testing:

Perform manual testing on Laravel-based web applications, covering functional,

regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.

Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using appropriate tools (e.g., Jira,

Bugzilla).

Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues, understand fixes, and validate

bug resolutions.

∙Automated Testing:

Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks

compatible with Laravel (e.g., PHPUnit, Dusk).

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure consistent and repeatable

testing processes.

Analyze test results, report findings, and make recommendations for

improvements.

∙Performance Testing:

Conduct performance and load testing on Laravel applications to ensure

scalability and efficiency.

Identify performance bottlenecks and work with the development team to

optimize application performance.

∙Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to

understand requirements and deliver high-quality software.

Participate in code reviews, providing feedback from a testing perspective.

Communicate test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.

∙Continuous Improvement:

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in software testing and the

Laravel framework.

Proactively suggest and implement improvements to testing processes, tools, and

methodologies.

Qualifications:

∙Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related

field, or equivalent work experience.

∙Experience:

Proven experience in software testing, particularly with 
Laravel-based

applications.

Strong knowledge of the Laravel framework and its ecosystem.

Experience with manual testing, including functional, regression, and integration

testing.

Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g.,

PHPUnit, Dusk).

Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).

∙Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and

databases.

Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.
