Job Summary

  • We are seeking a
    Software Tester (Intern)
    to assist in testing and ensuring the quality of web and mobile applications.
  • The role involves executing test cases, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with developers to ensure smooth functionality and an excellent user experience.
  • The intern will gain practical exposure to software testing methodologies, QA processes, and bug tracking tools.
  • Ideal for candidates with a basic understanding of testing concepts, strong analytical skills, and keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough manual testing on web and mobile applications to ensure quality and performance.
  • Execute test cases and accurately document and report defects.
  • Identify, record, and track bugs using appropriate tracking tools.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and team members to resolve identified issues.
  • Conduct functional, UI, regression, and usability testing to validate application behavior.
  • Assist in preparing detailed test plans, test scenarios, and comprehensive test reports.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups or team meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
  • Contribute to maintaining and improving testing processes and documentation standards.

Skills & qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science
    ,
    Information Technology
    , or a related discipline.
  • Basic understanding of
    software testing concepts
    , methodologies, and life cycles.
  • Familiarity with
    bug tracking and reporting tools
    such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Strong
