Technical Product Delivery Manager, Global HCM Systems
Summary
Regeneron is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Technical Product Delivery Manager with expertise in various Workday HCM modules in terms of technical solutions and systems/software. This role involves supporting both US and international locations. The ideal candidate should possess skills in Workday HCM, technical solutions, and have a deep understanding of the technical aspects and integrations with boundary applications.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge specific to systems and implementation/support. This includes but is not limited to product design, implementing solutions, in-depth technical knowledge, and integration of the product/software being implemented.
- Responsible for assisting the Product Delivery Manager to resolve incidents, break fixes, progressing enhancement requests using Agile methodologies
- Act as an intermediary between the business and the service provider for managing data to day tickets related to incidents and service requests
- Assist the service delivery team to translate requirements into practical, innovative solutions to serve the needs of the business
- Ensure designs are well documented and socialized with the IT team to achieve alignment on approach and future strategy
- Work closely with all technical teams, including boundary systems, and close gaps quickly to speed up the system development process.
- Ensure completion of unit testing and integration testing including the documentation of unit test plans and evidence of testing
- Conduct quality assurance testing of application and integrations prior to business testing
- Support user acceptance testing for major initiatives, small projects, and enhancements to ensure the final solution meets the business requirements
- Serve as the conduit between IT and the business through which requirements flow and are designed, built and tested
Business Technology Planning
- Build and maintain relationships with assigned teams
- Develop and continually strengthen deep knowledge of HR and Service application technologies and business processes for assigned areas
- Act as a workstream lead to ensure plans that support key process areas meet business requirements now and for the future
Requirements:
- 6+ years of proven HR experience working as a technical lead and experienced systems analyst
- Strong experience with Core HR, processes and supporting cross functional technology platforms
- 4+ years of experience with Workday Integration types including EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Workday Studio, API based, BIRT reports, RAAS, custom and calculated fields, XPATH, XML, and XSLT File Transformation Knowledge.
- 4+ years integrating systems with third-party service vendors
- 4+ years technical foundation experience with Workday Recruiting, HCM (Position Mgmt., Security, MSS/ESS, Onboarding), Compensation, Advanced Compensation
- Experience with Performance, Succession Planning, Learning, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, Prism and Extend is a plus
- Experience with ServiceNow/Jira or similar cloud application
- Experience with HR application Beeline and TalentHub is a plus
- Technical expertise with application development to assist with the design and specification development desired
- Experience facilitating, supporting and ensuring traceability with requirements exists during testing phases (SIT); experience using testing tools a plus
- Strong ability to collaborate with senior technologists, to define business processes, implement creative solutions and measure delivery results
- Ability to think analytically, a proactive problem solver
- Ability to creatively and constructively challenge/influence technical designs to ensure simplicity and supportability.
- Collaborative, agile mindset to drive speedy, creative and efficient use of technology and data to drive business value
- High degree of business acumen and urgency to act.
- Capable of translating and presenting technical concepts into practical business terms in both small and large group settings.
- Well organized individual who can prioritize tasks and cut through details to identify units of work needed to complete the project
- Excellent communications skills are essential
- A "get-it-done" attitude; ability to juggle multiple high priority tasks quickly
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Bachelors Degree required
- Certification(s) in Workday is a plus
