Your Job

We are seeking a Quality Automation Engineer to join our growing team at Koch Global Services India (KGSI). In this role, you will architect and lead the development of scalable test automation frameworks, drive the transition from Ranorex to Playwright, and implement CI/CD testing strategies. Your work will directly enhance test coverage, reduce defect leakage, and accelerate release cycles across our global platforms.

Our Team
You'll be part of the Guardian QE Capability team, supporting multiple ERP systems, platforms, and custom solutions. The team is focused on solving complex problems and delivering innovative solutions that ensure optimal performance and customer experience across Koch's digital ecosystem.

What You Will Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript).
  • Lead the migration from Ranorex to Playwright, applying best practices for efficiency.
  • Implement E2E, UI (Infor M3, Salesforce, public websites), API (REST), and cross-browser testing.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Optimize test execution using parallel testing, cloud platforms (BrowserStack, LambdaTest), and headless execution.
  • Enhance test data management and reduce flakiness using AI-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to implement shift-left testing.
  • Monitor test results, generate reports, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Mentor junior engineers on automation best practices.
  • Understand complex integrations across ERP landscapes and perform end-to-end testing.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and communicate automation status to stakeholders.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 5+ years of experience in test automation and quality engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
  • Experience with API automation tools (Postman, RestAssured, Playwright API).
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline integration and parallel test execution.
  • Strong problem-solving skills focused on scalability and efficiency.

What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD setup.
  • Mobile automation and performance testing (JMeter, NeoLoad).
  • Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, LambdaTest, SauceLabs).
  • Exposure to accessibility and security testing.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Awareness of current market trends in test automation.
