Overview The SAP RE-FX Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Flexible Real Estate Management solutions to optimize an organization's real estate portfolio. This role focuses on managing various aspects of real estate, including lease management, property management, space management, and their financial integration within the SAP ecosystem.  Responsibilities A SAP RE-FX consultant's responsibilities typically include leading or participating in the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP RE-FX solutions throughout the project lifecycle. This involves analyzing business requirements and translating them into functional specifications, configuring real estate objects and contracts, and ensuring compliance with lease accounting standards like IFRS 16 and ASC 842. They are also responsible for integrating RE-FX with other SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, PM), managing real estate accounting processes (rent calculation, billing, invoicing), designing lease management solutions, and handling payment processing. Additional duties include developing planning and forecasting processes, providing support and troubleshooting, creating documentation, and training end-users.  Qualifications Typical qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and proven experience (usually 3-5+ years) in SAP RE-FX implementation, including participation in full-cycle projects. Strong expertise in the RE-FX module, knowledge of real estate processes (lease administration, rent accounting), and understanding of lease accounting standards (IFRS 16, ASC 842) are essential. Experience with integration points between RE-FX and other SAP modules is also important. Analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are highly valued. Experience with SAP S/4HANA RE-FX and SAP RE-FX certification can be advantageous.  Key Skills
