Job Title: Senior Executive / Assistant Manager - MMO Sales & Business Development

Department: Marketing & Sales

Work Location: Ambattur, Chennai

Location to handle: Pan India / As per business requirement

Reporting To: AVP - Marketing & Sales

Job Summary:

Responsible for driving business development and sales growth in the MMO (Metal Matrix Oxides / related product line) segment by identifying new customers, developing strategic partnerships, and strengthening the companys presence in domestic and export markets. The role involves understanding industrial applications, technical marketing, and end-to-end customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities for MMO products in domestic and international markets.
  • Engage with industrial clients, OEMs, and distributors for product promotion and technical discussions.
  • Develop strategic sales plans to achieve volume, revenue, and margin targets.
  • Collaborate with R&D and production teams to align product capabilities with market requirements.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers, emerging applications, and competitor activities.
  • Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry forums to expand brand visibility.
  • Prepare and present techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and contract negotiations.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure timely follow-up for orders, dispatches, and payments.
  • Track and report sales performance, market feedback, and new business developments.
  • Travel to client locations, industrial clusters, and exhibitions as required.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Education: Any Graduate / Post Graduate (MBA in Marketing or International Business preferred).
  • Experience: 5–8 years of experience in B2B / Industrial Sales or Business Development, preferably in chemicals, oxides, pigments, or specialty materials.
  • Technical Exposure: Knowledge of MMO products or related inorganic chemical materials will be an added advantage.

  • Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Market analysis and business development acumen
  • Strong relationship management and customer service orientation

  • Strategic thinking with execution capability

  • Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel extensively within India and abroad (if required).
