**Role Overview:**
The Welfare Officer will play a pivotal role in promoting and ensuring the well-being of our employees. This position requires a compassionate and proactive individual who can effectively manage employee welfare programs, maintain compliance with statutory regulations, and foster a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, labour welfare, or industrial relations, with a deep understanding of labour laws and employee engagement strategies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Employee Welfare:**
Develop and implement welfare programs that enhance employee satisfaction and well-being.
Organize training sessions, workshops, and engagement activities to promote a positive work environment.
**Industrial Relations:**
Maintain harmonious industrial relations by addressing employee grievances promptly and effectively.
Liaise with union representatives and management to resolve conflicts and negotiate agreements.
**Compliance and Safety:**
Ensure compliance with all statutory welfare policies and labour laws.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
**Communication and Liaison:**
Serve as the primary point of contact between employees and management for welfare-related issues.
Liaise with government bodies and regulatory agencies to ensure adherence to legal requirements.
**Record Keeping and Reporting:**
Maintain accurate records of welfare activities, employee grievances, and compliance audits.
Prepare and submit reports on welfare initiatives and outcomes to management.
**Qualifications:**
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial setup.
Diploma/Degree in Social Work, Labour Welfare, or Industrial Relations.
Strong knowledge of labour laws, safety regulations, and statutory welfare requirements.
Proficiency in Hindi and Punjabi is essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to organize and manage welfare programs and employee engagement activities.
Experience in liaising with government bodies and regulatory agencies.
