Role & responsibilities

The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures. The role ensures all electrical work complies with safety standards, quality guidelines, and statutory regulations to maintain smooth operations across the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance on electrical panels, motors, lighting, and power distribution systems.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical diagrams.
  • Ensure proper grounding, insulation, and circuit protection in all electrical installations.
  • Monitor electrical consumption and suggest energy-saving measures.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in safe, clean, and good condition.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and company policies during maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with other departments for electrical support during projects or shutdowns.
  • Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
