Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Lead quality assurance efforts across multiple projects and teams
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking tools
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality
  • Automate regression and functional testing using modern frameworks and tools
  • Perform root cause analysis and drive resolution of complex quality issues
  • Identify opportunities to improve the overall testing strategy and enhance the product's quality posture
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in testing and quality assurance
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality processes
  • Monitor and report on key quality metrics and testing progress

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
  • Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proven excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proven ability to lead quality initiatives and mentor junior team members
  • Proven passion for continuous improvement and staying current with industry trends

Preferred Qualification:

  • Experience with performance and/or security testing
