This role requires a person to perform QA for a set of products by aligning with engineering andproduct stakeholders, and preparing test case and bug report documentation. Theresponsibilities include: ● Test Planning & Design: participate in test planning and design, create detailed,comprehensive, and well -structured test plans and test cases based on the project'srequirements. ● Executing and Managing Tests: conducts tests, diligently identifying and documentingdefects and inconsistencies. They may also oversee the test execution carried out byother team members and report on results. ● Collaboration & Communication: They collaborate closely with cross -functional teams(like development, business analysis, product management) to ensure quality throughoutthe software development lifecycle. This may involve presenting test results tostakeholders, working closely with developers to address issues, or discussing projectstatus with team leads and project managers.Requirements Skills: Product and System Understanding ● To understand Product Requirements Document and plan use cases accordingly. ● Have understanding of various systems like SQL, postman, rails console etc. Test Cases and Bug Report Documentation ● To prepare different test cases reports from the use cases document. ● Prepare bug reports for each task assigned. ● Prepare regression and sanity test cases. Execution ● Execute different types of testing (performance, UI, functional) ● Coordinate with the engineering & product team for the bugs resolution. ● Guide the QA support team to resolve the technical issues. Maintenance ● Discuss the legacy bugs with the relevant stakeholders and maintain a properdocumentation for the products assigned. ● Give feedback in the SLA reviews driven by the engineering managers. Persona ● Quality Assurance experience of minimum 2 years. ● Hands -on experience in black box testing. ● Good knowledge of SQL and Postman. ● Experience in writing test scenarios and test cases. To communicate the bugs todevelopers and stakeholders. ● Knowledge of both front -end and back -end testing. ● Experience in testing mobile applications(Android & iOS). ● Good communication skills (verbal and written)
