Job description:
  • You will join the Control Software Development Team for DCT Powertrain- the controls software is developed according to the Model Based Development process (V-cycle) with Simulink.
  • You will be the responsible for verification & validation activities for Automotive Embedded software.
  • As module owner you will create the VnV roadmap and roll it out, by implementing it or manage a small team, depending on your experience.
  • Additionally, you might contribute on validating and calibrating the controls software. You could make test plans, write and execute test cases based on the requirements to validate the controls software on HIL, test bench and in vehicle.
  • The goal of your role is to develop the software tools and processes for Controls development, for code generation and software build, all ISO26262 and AUTOSAR compliant.
Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in the field of Computer science, Electrical Engineering, Controls, Mechatronics, Systems.
  • 6 years of professional work experience in model-based design or embedded software engineering, verification & validation activities is desired.
  • Experience with a broad set of MathWorks products (including Simulink, Stateflow, EmbededCoder)
  • Experience with programming/scripting languages (such as Bash, PERL, Python, Java)
  • Experience with dSPACE Hardware-in the-Loop (HIL) test systems using Control Desk
  • Experience with Functional Safety standard ISO26262 and AUTOSAR
  • Experience with modelling standards (MAAB), coding standards (MISRA C), software implementation standards, and/or certification processes and requirements is a strong plus.
  • Experience of working with Requirement management tool like Polarion, Doors

  • Very strong knowledge of (and enthusiasm for) model-based design processes and its implications for embedded systems development.
