Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Lecturer in English to join our Science and Humanities Department. The candidate should have a strong academic background in English literature or language, with a passion for teaching and student engagement. Immediate joiners will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lectures in English language, communication skills, and literature to undergraduate students.
  • Design and develop lesson plans, assignments, and evaluation tools aligned with course objectives.
  • Facilitate classroom discussions and encourage interactive learning.
  • Provide academic support and guidance to students for their overall language development.
  • Contribute to departmental meetings, curriculum development, and institutional initiatives.
  • Maintain up-to-date academic records and comply with academic policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • M.A. in English (mandatory)
  • Minimum 4years of teaching experience, preferably in higher education

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent command over written and spoken English
  • Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of modern teaching methodologies and tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff
