Software Development Engineer OpenText Exstream

We're looking for a Software Development Engineer – OpenText Exstream with 1–3 years of experience in IT to join our high-performing team. In this role, you'll contribute to the full software development lifecycle, focusing on building and maintaining dynamic customer communication solutions using OpenText Exstream, scripting languages, and database technologies.

• Design, code, configure, and debug OpenText Exstream (Dialogue) applications including layouts, tables, variables, barcodes, placeholders, and complex business rules.

• Map structured driver/reference data files and use copybooks/layouts for data handling.

• Participate in the full development lifecycle including integration testing, UAT support, and deployment.

• Collaborate in code reviews, design reviews, and release/build management processes.

• Perform system monitoring, maintenance, and issue resolution to meet SLAs and industry standards.

• Work in Unix/Linux environments and manage Exstream version upgrades.

• Support client-facing teams with application troubleshooting and documentation.

• Develop reusable components and ensure best practices in performance, security, and compliance.

Additional Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of Linux/Unix/Windows OS, C#/.NET/Python, KSH scripting

• Database proficiency with Oracle, SQL Server, or equivalent

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Agile/Scrum experience preferred; SAFe knowledge is a plus
