Role & responsibilities
Objective: The role of a Sales Controller is present in every organization it involves managing all the activities of the sales divisions, assigning duties to the field force and making sure that the organization achieves its sales targets. This profile has a major responsibility related to the sales division and, is answerable to the sales supervisors and managers.
- Tracking Reports of Sales Team including BM for Daily Sales Reports (DSR), Tour Plan and Monthly Reports. Updating the status to HO Sales Coordinator with his remarks and recommendations on daily basis.
- Before sending the expense vouchers of Sales Team he has to verify Daily Sales Report (DSR) status, then send it to HO with his remarks i.e. either to hold the expense or not, followed by email intimation to HO Sales Coordinator.
- Rigorous follow up with the entire team for All Major Dealer's Stock statement and has to make sure that every sales person is submitting at least once in a month.
- After getting the Dealer's Stock statement from Sales team he / she have to send the updated excel sheet to HO Sales Coordinator. Also need to update HO regarding improper reporting of any individual.
- He / She have to make sure that all instruction sent from HO for Sales Team are implemented properly and honestly by the team.
- Need to see that all the promotional materials are properly utilized by the Team.
- Maintaining the stock of all promotional materials and indenting accordingly to HO Sales Coordinator.
- Follow up with sales team for outstanding collection and make sure that all payments are collected on or before credit limit.
Performance of sales team to be analyzed in terms of sales achievement vs. effort made and sales discipline on monthly basis. Need to send analysis report to HO Sales Coordinator after monthly closing.
Ensuring all inquiries (sales divisions) are attended properly and in a time bound manner
Strict adherence and implementing organization process guidelines / techniques
MIS as per the requirement of Management
Regular call summary report, field days, expense, warning and sales performance reports and its evaluation
Monitoring performance levels of all individuals in the sales division and identifying training requirements
Tasks:
- Monitoring DSR & sending Excel sheet every fortnight on call Average.( By 01st & 16th of every month).
- Receiving Tour Plan by 03rd of every month & Stock 7 sales Statement
- Mark in / out verification and approval.
- Stock & Sales Compilation
- Project Documentation.
- Check Spine, Tour Plan, MSR, DSR online & do followup
- MCM related reports
Monthly sales report which includes
- Total Sales
- C.P & I.T.
- Product wise sales
- Retail & Project
- Field days report.
- Sales Expense ratio
- Dispatch details before 03rd of every month
- orders follow-up & Payments
- Stationery & promotional materials
- Sending Quotations for enquiries.
- Expense Voucher's
- KPI
- Schemes circulars as per policies
- Initiating BTL activities and Monitor marketing collaterals
- Geographical knowledge
- Regular market visit
- Coordination with Depot Managers and field force.
- Regular monitoring of competitors activities
