Role & responsibilities
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor in Advertising & PR based in Ahmedabad. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for developing and delivering course content, conducting research, and mentoring students in the fields of advertising and public relations. Responsibilities also include curriculum development, student assessment, and contributing to the academic community through scholarly activities. The role requires staying updated with industry trends and incorporating practical insights into the curriculum.
Preferred candidate profile
- Teaching and mentoring experience in Advertising and Public Relations
- Research skills and experience in academic publishing in relevant fields
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Curriculum development and assessment skills
- Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Advertising, PR, Mass Communication, or related field
- Ability to engage students and contribute to a collaborative academic environment
- Experience in the media industry is a plus
