Negotiate and manage relationships with key freight forwarders, shipping lines, and other logistics partners to secure competitive rates and optimal service. Stay informed of industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvement. Manage the entire export shipping process, from planning and booking to delivery and documentation Oversee the preparation and accuracy of all export documentation, ensuring compliance with international regulations and food safety standards. Monitor shipments in real-time, proactively address delays or issues, and implement contingency plans. Manage a team of shipping and logistics personnel, providing training, mentorship, and performance feedback. Analyze logistics data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and present recommendations to senior management. Ensure strict adherence to all import/export regulations, food safety standards, and company policies Manage customs clearance processes and liaise with customs authorities as needed. Identify and mitigate potential risks related to shipping, transportation, and regulatory compliance.
