Job Description:

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Data Scientist with expertise in natural language processing (NLP) to lead our NLP team. As the NLP Team Lead, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring a team of data scientists working on challenging NLP projects. You will provide technical leadership, drive innovation, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality NLP solutions.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in data science or a related field, with a strong focus on NLP.

Proven track record of leading and managing teams of data scientists, with the ability to inspire and mentor team members.

Extensive experience in developing and deploying NLP models, including language models, sentiment analysis, entity recognition, and speech-to-text technologies.

Deep expertise in Python and NLP libraries such as NLTK, spaCy, Transformers, and proficiency in deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques, with hands-on experience in building and deploying complex models.

Experience in leading end-to-end NLP projects, from problem definition to solution delivery and deployment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically to solve complex technical challenges.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Research publications in the field of NLP or related areas are a plus.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of data scientists working on NLP projects, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership.

Drive innovation and research in NLP, exploring new techniques, algorithms, and technologies to enhance our capabilities.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Design and architect scalable and efficient NLP solutions, considering factors such as performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Ensure the successful delivery of high-quality NLP solutions, meeting project deadlines and objectives.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in NLP and related fields, and promote knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.

Act as a subject matter expert in NLP, providing insights and guidance to stakeholders and senior management.
