Channel Sales Manager Job Description

Overview:

As a Channel Sales Manager, you will lead a team of producers to achieve strong pipelines and grow individual agent business. Key responsibilities include ensuring IRDA compliance, managing application quality, and training agents on products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily activities of producers to ensure a strong pipeline.
  • Cross-sell and grow agent business.
  • Ensure IRDA compliance regarding licensing and commission payments.
  • Maintain the quality of applications.
  • Recruit and appoint agents for General Insurance business.
  • Train agents on products, process, and unique selling points (USPs).

Performance Metrics:

  • Achieve overall assigned targets.
  • Meet service excellence standards.
  • Monitor claim settlements with agreed turnaround times (TATs).

Requirements:

  • Total 3-6 years of experience in the General Insurance industry.
  • Graduation with any professional degree and an Insurance certification at the Associate level.
