Role Overview

We are seeking a versatile Computer Vision & AI Pipeline Engineer with experience in video analytics,

object detection, sentiment analysis, speech-to-text, multimodal AI, and generative AI, with an optional

background in VFX. This role focuses on developing scalable AI workflows for media content analysis,

automation, and contextual understanding, integrating multi-modal AI models into robust media pipelines.

VFX experience is a nice-to-have that can enhance creative applications but is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  1. AI Model Development & Optimization

  2. Build and fine-tune models for video analysis, object detection, scene understanding, sentiment

recognition, and speech-to-text transcription.

  • Develop models for content recommendation, metadata extraction, and data generation from

cue sheets, metadata, and video frames.

  1. AI-Driven Media Automation & Analysis Toolso Design automation tools for tagging, content indexing, sentiment and emotion analysis, and

metadata extraction.

  • Utilise intelligent data generation techniques to create datasets and annotations for training

models, based on video content, cue sheets, and metadata.

  1. Pipeline Development and Integration

  2. Develop and maintain scalable AI pipelines, including ComfyUI workflows and custom Python

scripts, for multimedia processing and context understanding.

  • Integrate multiple AI models, including visual, audio, and textual analytics, into a seamless

workflow supporting content production and editorial teams.

  1. Advanced Video & Context Understanding (Nice-to-Have)

  2. Implement generic computer vision functions such as motion analysis, scene segmentation,

tracking, and contextual scene understanding.

  • Support recommendations and data insights derived from video context, cue sheets, and

metadata, to aid content discovery and content management.

  1. Collaboration and Support

  2. Work closely with product teams, data scientists, and media specialists to develop innovative

AI solutions.

  • Troubleshoot, optimise, and validate AI models for performance and accuracy in real-time or

batch processing environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of professional Python programming experience with strong software engineering

fundamentals.

  • Proven experience in computer vision, video analysis, speech & language AI, and multimodal AI

applications.

  • Proficiency with OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and related libraries.
  • Experience with content metadata handling, cue sheet analysis, and automated data annotation.
  • Understanding of image processing, computational photography, and multimodal data fusion.
    • Familiarity with media workflows and production pipelines.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills, with a creative approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with VFX tools like Unreal Engine, Nuke, or After Effects is nice-to-have.
  • Knowledge of generative AI models, diffusion models, and GANs.
  • Familiarity with 3D vision techniques like photogrammetry and camera calibration.
  • GPU programming expertise for large-scale model deployment.
  • Prior work in media content production, broadcast or film environments.
  • Knowledge of recommendation systems and data generation from video metadata and cue sheets.
