Role & responsibilities

Lead, scale, and mentor an engineering organization of 3040 engineers, including engineering managers and team leads.

Drive the architecture and delivery of robust internal platforms using a modern stack: Python, FastAPI, React, and cloud-based microservices (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Take full ownership of end-to-end delivery — from requirements gathering and planning to execution, rollout, and post-release improvements.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders across operations, finance, HR, and other departments to

understand pain points and translate them into scalable, technical solutions.

Define and implement best practices across engineering for code quality, testing, deployment, and observability.

Build an internal product mindset within engineering teams — prioritize usability, reliability, and

long-term maintainability.

Manage team structure, performance, hiring plans, and career growth to maintain a high-performing and engaged organization.

Drive delivery excellence through continuous improvement in development workflows, project tracking, and engineering KPIs.

Maintain a culture of accountability, transparency, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications:

14–18 years of experience in software engineering, with 7+ years in engineering leadership roles.

Proven experience managing and scaling engineering teams of 30+ across multiple product or platform initiatives.

Demonstrated success in leading the delivery of large-scale internal platforms or enterprise tools.

Deep expertise in Python, FastAPI, React, microservices, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Strong delivery ownership mindset with experience managing complex project timelines and stakeholder expectations.

Experience building internal systems that improve operational workflows, automate manual processes, or centralize business logic.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and modern software lifecycle

management.

Exp in US Healthcare is Preferred
