Java Technical Lead - SAAS

Job Description

  • Lead the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of scalable SaaS applications using Java and related technologies.
  • Mentor and manage a team of developers, conducting code reviews and ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and DevOps to define technical solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Design and implement microservices-based architectures, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
  • Drive Agile/Scrum practices and CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable delivery.
  • Ensure code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and engineering standards.
  • Monitor system health and optimize for performance and cost in a cloud-native environment (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Participate in architecture discussions and make key technical decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering with 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in
    Java (8+)
    ,
    Spring Boot
    , and related frameworks.
  • Experience designing and developing
    SaaS platforms
    with high concurrency and availability.
  • Solid understanding of
    RESTful APIs
    ,
    microservices
    , and
    event-driven architecture
    .
  • Experience with
    cloud platforms
    (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficient in working with
    SQL and NoSQL databases
    (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with
    CI/CD pipelines
    , automated testing, and DevOps practices.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to guide technical teams.
