Junior Business Intelligence Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Business Intelligence Analyst to support data-driven decision-making for our infrastructure and cloud services. The role involves creating reports, dashboards, and insights to help business and technical teams make informed decisions. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, has a basic understanding of cloud infrastructure, and is interested in developing skills in data visualization, SQL, and analytics within an IaaS environment.

Requirements

• Collect, analyze, and interpret datasets to generate actionable insights.
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using BI tools such as DOMO or Grafana.
• Assist in cost analysis and comparisons of IaaS services and deployment options.
• Support data mapping, validation, and documentation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and help translate them into actionable tasks.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support project deliverables.
• Work with SRE and operations teams to monitor system performance and reliability metrics.
• Write and optimize basic SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Assist in tracking KPIs to monitor infrastructure efficiency, reliability, and cost optimization.

• 1+ year of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst
• Hands-on experience with BI/reporting tools like DOMO, Grafana, or similar.
• Some practical experience in data analysis, reporting, or BI (internships or projects are acceptable).
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in cloud infrastructure and IaaS environments.
• Exposure to SRE principles (SLIs, SLOs, error budgets) or willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
• Basic understanding of ITIL/ITSM frameworks.
• Interest in cost analysis and financial modeling.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain data to a variety of
