About the Role
The Consultant will be responsible for shaping both the content and delivery of our specialized technical programs, serving as an expert resource for our Curriculum Teams and Academic Partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Curation & Design:
Leverage advanced subject matter expertise in the design, critique, and refinement of technical curriculum for new and existing training programs to align with current industry standards and academic rigor.
- Expert Instruction:
Deliver guest lectures and seminars on specialized technical topics to program participants, fostering deeper learning and intellectual curiosity.
- Academic Coordination:
Acting as the primary point of contact between two nominated faculties/departments-internal and external academic partners-to ensure coherence in content delivery, use of shared resources, and learning objectives aligned.
- Content Validation:
Training materials, case studies, and assessments will be reviewed for technical accuracy and pedagogical effectiveness.
- Mentorship & Guidance:
Provide expert guidance and mentorship to internal program managers and junior instructional designers on complex technical subjects.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Ph.D.
in a technical field like: Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Advanced Mathematics, or particular domain AI/ML, Quantum Computing, etc.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years post-doctoral or equivalent professional experience in a technical role.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or teaching/lecturing in a university or professional training environment.
Key Competencies:
- Good skills in writing and verbal communication, with the ability to effectively communicate with academic faculties and industry practitioners alike.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills for logistics and alignment of different academic groups/faculties.
- Proactive and collaborative content creation with a view toward quality assurance.
