Braze Implementation Specialist

Years of Experience:

6+ years overall experience in Marketing Automation Platforms

  • Minimum 34 years in marketing automation implementation (Adobe Campaign, SFMC, etc.)
  • At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Braze

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Braze Implementation Specialist to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable marketing automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Braze, a solid understanding of customer segmentation and data modeling, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to deliver impactful marketing automation campaigns.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of Braze-based marketing automation solutions.
  • Develop and optimize data models, audience segmentation, and automation strategies.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide best-in-class, scalable solutions.
  • Design, build, and configure marketing campaigns, acting as the primary point of contact for automation requests.
  • Troubleshoot technical and functional issues related to Braze and other marketing automation platforms.
  • Use SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and audience targeting.
  • Integrate Braze with REST/SOAP APIs, FTPs, and external data sources for seamless data flow.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices.
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Act as a mentor for junior developers and guide them in Braze and automation best practices.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to improve marketing automation performance and customer engagement.

Must Have Skills:

  1. Hands-on experience in Braze platform implementation or Partner-Led Onboarding.
  2. Strong SQL skills (joins, complex queries, performance optimization).
  3. Experience with API Integrations and external data source connections.
  4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  5. Braze Certification – at least Developer level.

Good to Have Skills:

  1. Experience in other marketing automation tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Adobe Campaign, or Marketo.
  2. Programming experience in JavaScript / Java / VB / C# / PHP.
  3. Prior experience in Braze Partner-Led Onboarding.
  4. Exposure to data modeling and analytics tools.

Key Responsibilities Summary:

  1. End-to-end implementation and integration of Braze platform.
  2. Campaign automation and optimization across multiple digital channels.
  3. Data management and governance, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems.

Education Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
  • Postgraduate degree in Marketing / Business Administration preferred.

Certifications (Preferred):

  1. Braze Developer Certification (Mandatory)
  2. *Braze Digital Strategist Certification
  3. Certifications in other marketing automation tools (SFMC, Adobe Campaign, etc.) – a plus

Shift Timing:

Flexible to work in client-specific time zones (IST / GMT / EST / ANZ).
