Job Summary: The University is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated individual to join our Architecture Department as an Associate Professor/ Professor. The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D. in Architecture and demonstrate excellence in teaching, research, and service. This role requires a commitment to advancing the field of architecture through innovative research, engaging instruction, and active participation in the academic community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching: Deliver high-quality undergraduate and graduate courses in architecture. Develop course materials, lead lectures, and facilitate studio sessions that inspire and challenge students.
  • Research: Conduct cutting-edge research in architecture, with a focus on contributing to academic knowledge and practical applications. Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences.
  • Student Mentorship: Provide academic advising and mentorship to students, guiding them in their academic and professional development. Supervise graduate theses and projects.
  • Curriculum Development: Participate in the ongoing development and refinement of the architecture curriculum to ensure it meets the evolving needs of the profession and the industry.
  • Service: Engage in departmental, university, and professional service, including committee participation, student recruitment, and collaboration with industry partners.
  • Collaboration: Work with colleagues across disciplines to foster an interdisciplinary approach to architectural education and research.

Qualifications:

  • Education: B.Arch. , M.Arch , Ph.D.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in teaching at the university level and a strong research portfolio.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to inspire and engage students.
  • Research Portfolio: A robust record of published research, presentations, and creative work in architecture. Should have Book and Research Publications.
