Talent Acquisition -

  1. Organisation structuring, manpower ratios, Human Capital cost, deviation approvals & re-structuring.

  2. Recruitment, Selection, Joining, On-boarding and Induction coordination and completion.

  3. Managing hiring portals, manpower consultants, their contracts/feedback in sync with plant HR.

  4. Creating Job Description (JD) and role clarity of all candidates for hiring.

  5. Channelising internal referrals and Internal Job Postings for internal hiring and career growth.

Talent Management -

  1. Monitoring new hire probation period till their confirmation or extension of confirmation or exit.

  2. HR policies - initiation, discussions, data collection, drafting and approval from Director.

  3. Policy announcements, communication, training, implementation and compliance on all parameters.

  4. KRA, Goal setting, and performance appraisals alongwith Competency Assessments of all employees.

  5. Process owner for Rewards and Recognition and Performance Improvement Programmes.

  6. Managing all employee grievances, conflicts and exits, amicably as per statutory norms at plants.

  7. Tracking all compliance matters with complete coordination with plant HR and Plant Heads.

  8. Coordination with SMEs on legal matters and representing in labour courts for case settlements.

  9. Managing employee engagement and work-life balance and work environment at all locations.

  10. Payroll and Salary processing with all related PF/ESI/F&F/Exit settlements.

Talent Development -

  1. Skill development plan, training and monitoring and assessment of plant workers.

  2. Identifying training needs post annual PMS, and preparing Training calendars accordingly.

  3. Ensuring training effectiveness feedback and closure of programmes, scientifically for Staff.

  4. Ensuring all new initiatives from the Corporate are cascaded and effectively implemented.

  5. Implementation of the Competency Based Human Capital Development - Group wide.

MIS and Analytics -

  1. Creating and implementing regular MIS systems - particularly on employee attrition etc.

  2. Management reporting on key people levers and Annual climate assessment/Emp.Sat.Index(ESI)

  3. Trend Analysis and prompting management on policy reviews and external benchmarking.

  4. Any specific data/analysis that may be required by Director for strategic decision making.

As the head of the HR function at Corporate Office, reporting to the Director, this position is strategic and therefore requires matured communication skills, verbal , oral and presentation platforms. Ability to keep matters confidential is critical and the incumbent must have a good command on the subject. Extensive reading and research skills will come handy to be able to influence peers and superiors with professionalism. A manufacturing background and a regular full-time post graduate degree in Industrial Relations with a progressive Human Resource and Development mindset and technology friendliness may fit the requirement, suitably.
