About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced 
Unreal Engine Developer
 for a short-term project. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in 
multiplayer game implementation
, 
network communication
, 
server setup
, and 
visual quality enhancement
 including lighting and texturing. You'll help develop multiplayer features, ensure smooth player connectivity, and enhance the visual fidelity of the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and integrate 
    multiplayer systems
     within Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5).
  • Implement 
    player-to-player communication
     and synchronization.
  • Set up and manage 
    dedicated servers
     for multiplayer environments.
  • Optimize 
    network performance
     and handle replication efficiently.
  • Design, apply, and optimize textures
     for 3D assets and environments.
  • Set up 
    lighting, shadows, and post-processing effects
     for realistic or cinematic visuals.
  • Collaborate with designers and technical artists to ensure smooth gameplay and visual experience.
  • Debug and resolve networking, server, or visual issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience with 
    Unreal Engine 4 or 5
    .
  • Strong understanding of 
    Blueprints
     and 
    C++ scripting
     in Unreal.
  • Proven experience implementing 
    multiplayer gameplay
     and 
    network replication
    .
  • Knowledge of 
    server setup and management
     (AWS, Azure, or custom dedicated servers).
  • Experience with 
    lighting, materials, and texturing
     in Unreal Engine.
  • Experience with 
    Unreal Networking (Client-Server Model)
    .
  • Problem-solving and debugging skills for real-time applications.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with 
    Steam Multiplayer
    , 
    EOS (Epic Online Services)
    , or similar systems.
  • Familiarity with 
    Unreal Engine's Gameplay Ability System (GAS)
    .
  • Understanding of 
    cloud deployment
     and 
    matchmaking systems
    .
  • Knowledge of 
    advanced rendering techniques
     and 
    optimization for VR/AR or metaverse environments
    .
