KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preparation of Core Deliverables: Independently deliver Techno Economic Viability (TEV) Reports, Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), Project Finance Cashflow Models, Lenders Independent Engineer (LIE) Reports, and Debt Restructuring Studies for infrastructure and industrial projects across sectors in India and abroad.

Financial Modeling & Viability Analysis: Develop dynamic financial models from base assumptions and raw data to evaluate the financial feasibility of projects and corporate operations.

Information Memoranda (IM): Draft and structure high-quality IMs and credit appraisal notes for submission to lenders and investors.

Assumption Validation: Verify and validate project and financial assumptions through market intelligence, sectoral research, and benchmarking with industry data.

Technical & Site Due Diligence: Conduct site visits, technical assessments, and project appraisals to evaluate execution capability, cost, and timeline feasibility.

Client & Business Development: Maintain active engagement with banks, NBFCs, consultants, and corporates to source and execute project finance mandates. Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to acquire new clients.

Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with key project stakeholders including TEV/LIE consultants, valuers, legal advisors, and technical experts to ensure seamless delivery.

Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong relationships with financial institutions, corporates, CAs, consultants, engineers, and industry bodies (CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM, etc.).

Presentation & Reporting: Present project reports and findings to lenders, clients, and consortium members during appraisal and funding discussions.

Project Execution & Compliance: Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, regulatory compliance, and accuracy in reporting (weekly MIS).

Educational, experience, and skills requirements:

• CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA / Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) with 3-6 years of relevant experience in Project Finance, Credit Appraisal, or Consulting.
• Proven expertise in TEV studies, DPR preparation, LIE reports, financial modeling, and lender coordination.
• Should have worked on multiple sectors and have an expertise in at least one.
• Strong knowledge of the Indian lending ecosystem, including PSU banks, private sector banks, and NBFCs.
• Proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling and PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent analytical, writing, and client-handling skills.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India.
