is looking for a seasoned and high-performing
Equity & Commodity Dealer
to join our trading desk in
Chennai
. This is a critical,
on-site role
requiring a professional with proven experience in both equity and commodity markets who can drive revenue through expert execution and superior client service.

Note: This is not a remote position. Candidates must be able to commute daily to our chennai office.

Key Responsibilites:

  • Trade Execution:
    Accurately and efficiently execute buy and sell orders for clients across
    Equity (Cash & Derivatives) and Commodity
    segments on trading terminals.
  • Client Advisory:
    Provide timely and professional advice to clients based on in-house research, market trends, and technical analysis to maximize their trading profitability and portfolio performance.
  • Revenue Generation:
    Actively promote financial products, generate brokerage, and focus on increasing trading volume from active clients.
  • Compliance & Risk:
    Ensure all dealing activities adhere strictly to SEBI regulations, exchange rules, and internal risk management policies, maintaining a zero-error rate.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    Maintain strong, consistent communication with clients, update them on order/trade confirmations, resolve queries, and follow up on pay-in/pay-out obligations.
  • Market Monitoring:
    Continuously monitor domestic and global market movements, economic news, and financial data impacting the equity and commodity segments.

Required Skills and Experiences:

  • Proven Experience:
    Minimum of
    1-2 years
    of experience as an Equity Dealer, Commodity Dealer, or in a similar dealing/trading role within a stockbroking firm.
  • Mandatory Certification:
    Valid
    NISM Certification
    ( NISM Series VIII: Equity Derivatives, NISM Series VII: Securities Operations and Risk Management, or relevant modules).
  • Market Knowledge:
    In-depth understanding of market operations, trading mechanisms, and regulatory compliance for both Equity and Commodity markets.
  • Technical Skills:
    Proficiency in using trading terminals, financial software, and MS Office Suite.
  • Communication:
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate market views and investment strategies to clients.
  • Location Requirement:
    Must be able to commute daily
    to our office location in
    Porur, Chennai
    .

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and make quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced trading environment.
  • Strong focus on client service and relationship building.
