Housekeeping Assistant

The Housekeeping Assistant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness in assigned areas. The role ensures all rooms, public areas, and facilities are kept in excellent condition, providing a clean and comfortable environment for guests, residents, or employees.

Key Responsibilities:1. Cleaning & Maintenance

• Clean and sanitize rooms, corridors, restrooms, offices, and public areas.
• Dust furniture, sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and polish surfaces.
• Replace linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
• Empty trash bins and ensure waste segregation and disposal.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately.

2. Room / Area Preparation

• Ensure rooms and areas are properly set up according to company or guest standards.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, tissues, and cleaning materials.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any damages or shortages.

3. Hygiene & Safety

• Follow hygiene, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and in correct proportions.
• Adhere to all safety and environmental guidelines.
• Wear PPE and follow organizational safety rules at all times.

4. Communication & Teamwork

• Coordinate with supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Report lost and found items promptly to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude toward guests, residents, and colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum 10th / 12th standard or equivalent.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in housekeeping (hotel, hospital, or facility).
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of cleaning techniques, tools, and materials

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13, ₹17,000.00 per month
