Key Responsibilities :

- Design and Development : Design and develop efficient, robust, and scalable data models using SAP Native HANA SQL Modeling and Development (Calculation Views, Procedures, Functions, etc.).

- Performance Optimization : Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks by conducting thorough performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and HANA data models.

- Data Architecture : Apply strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling techniques (e.g., Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Normalization/Denormalization) to ensure data integrity and query efficiency.

- Implementation & Deployment : Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment of HANA solutions.

- Integration and Migration : Assist with and execute application integration and data migration strategies involving SAP HANA.

- Troubleshooting : Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently related to HANA models, data loading, and performance.

- Collaboration : Work closely with functional teams, business analysts, and other developers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developed solutions.

Must-Have Skills :

- Candidates must possess significant experience in the following areas :

- Proficiency in SAP Native HANA SQL Modeling & Development (e.g., Advanced/Graphical Calculation Views, Stored Procedures, UDFs, CDS Views, and SQLScript).

- Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling techniques specific to an in-memory database like HANA.

- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and HANA data models to ensure sub-second response times for reporting.

- Familiarity with application integration and data migration strategies (e.g., using technologies like SAP Data Services, SLT, or SDI).

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently within the SAP HANA environment.

Desired/Good-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with SAP HANA XS Advanced (XSA) development and services.

- Familiarity with various SAP HANA data provisioning techniques (e.g., SDI, SDA, SLT).

- Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or other front-end reporting tools connected to HANA.

- Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

- Relevant SAP HANA certifications.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
