Manager, Project Management - Mastercard XBS

Overview

  • Within Mastercard's Products & Innovation, the team develops, delivers, and manages shared capabilities supporting the Mastercard XBS product and ensures competitive differentiation and alignment with key Mastercard priorities.
  • Partners with cross-functional global stakeholders (Partnerships, Product, Operations & Technology, Legal, Treasury, Finance and Regulatory) - both internal and external - to ensure capabilities support multiple objectives.
  • This position oversees driving our processes, and leading the key gates, throughout the project life cycle. It will help our group continuously improve its project management processes and the project deliverables.

Role

  • Manages and oversees multiple projects concurrently, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Organizes and leads project life-cycle meetings, ensuring requestors and contributors provide the required inputs. Prepares meeting minutes, action trackers, and progress reports.
  • Consolidates and tracks project status updates from internal stakeholders across various domains, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data for management reporting.
  • Develops and maintains dashboards and presentations (PowerPoint and analytical reports) for internal SteerCo meetings, providing a clear view of project progress, risks, dependencies, and key decisions.
  • Gathers and analyzes project performance metrics and delivers periodic reports to support management reviews and strategic planning.
  • Drives continuous improvement of project and process documentation, authoring key materials such as user guides, process definitions, and reporting templates for internal and external use.
  • Promotes adherence to defined project governance processes and collects feedback from stakeholders to drive process optimization and best practices adoption.

All About You

  • Experience working within a global technology organization managing strategy development, agile program management or leading an agile development team.
  • Ability to take accountability, acting with a sense of urgency, and delivering plans with passion, ambition and aptitude
  • Project management, organization, and leadership skills with ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders
  • Superior oral and written communication, problem solving, and handling multiple project management skills
