Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:

We are seeking a highly experienced and methodical Senior Project Manager to lead the successful execution of our utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex high-voltage power projects, encompassing both civil and electrical works. This role requires a proven ability to manage multifaceted projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. The Senior Project Manager will

lead and mentor a project team and will be proficient in using modern project management

software to track progress and report on project status.

Key Responsibilities:

● Project Leadership & Execution: Oversee the entire project lifecycle for utility-scale

BESS projects, from initial planning, design, and procurement through to construction,

commissioning, and final handover.

● High-Voltage Project Management: Apply extensive knowledge of high-voltage (HV)

electrical systems and substation interfaces to manage all technical aspects of the BESS

project, ensuring seamless integration with the grid.

● Civil & Electrical Works Management: Supervise and coordinate all civil engineering

and electrical installation works, ensuring compliance with engineering designs,

specifications, and relevant codes and standards.

● Team Management & Development: Lead, motivate, and manage a multidisciplinary

project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Provide

guidance and mentorship to team members.

● Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project

stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, EPC contractors, equipment suppliers,

regulatory bodies, and local communities. Ensure clear and consistent communication.

● Risk & Quality Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.

Implement robust quality assurance and quality control processes throughout the project

lifecycle.

● Schedule & Budget Control: Develop and manage detailed project schedules, track

progress against milestones, and ensure adherence to project timelines. Monitor project

costs, manage budgets, and ensure financial objectives are met.

● Contract Management: Oversee contract administration, including managing contractor

and supplier obligations, change orders, and ensuring compliance with contractual

terms.

● Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and present regular project status reports to

senior management and other stakeholders. Maintain comprehensive project

documentation.

● Software Proficiency: Utilize project management software tools (such as Zoho

Projects, Google Projects, MS Project, Primavera, or similar platforms) for planning,

tracking, resource allocation, and reporting.

● Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Compliance: Champion and enforce strict

adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies on

site and throughout all project activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

● Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering,

Construction Management, or a related technical field.

● A minimum of 10 years of progressive project management experience, with a significant

portion focused on large-scale energy infrastructure projects.

● Demonstrable experience in managing high-voltage (HV) power projects, including

substations and grid interconnections.

● Proven track record of successfully managing both civil works (e.g., foundations, site

development) and electrical works (e.g., equipment installation, cabling, protection and

control systems) components of complex projects.

● Experience in the renewable energy sector, particularly with Battery Energy Storage

Systems (BESS) or utility-scale solar PV projects, is highly desirable.

● Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Projects, Google Projects, MS Project, Primavera, Jira, Procore, or similar) and standard

office software.

● Adaptability & Resilience: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and

manage pressure effectively.

● Results-Oriented: A strong drive to achieve project goals and deliver successful

outcomes.

Certifications (Added Plus):

● Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a significant advantage.

● Other relevant industry certifications would be considered a plus.
