• Assist in establishing the framework for risk management activities • Identify credit risk; assess company effectiveness in managing these risks through appropriate internal controls; and build awareness of the business implications of credit risk, and how to manage credit risk. • Asist in development of risk assessment tools and procedures • Provide regular review and analysis of portfolio trends to detect deterioration in portfolio quality. This includes the monitoring and control of the credit portfolio by ensuring that all credit exposure is properly approved, reported and reviewed. • Develop framework for Credit Policy, risk appetite and risk limits in consonance with evolving regulatory framework. • Oversee and manage all regulatory and other compliances. • Recognize, develop, maintain, and administer all aspects of the NBFC's compliance program to ensure adherence to applicable RBI laws and regulations. • Navigating the ambiguities and regulatory complexities for development of fully compliant products. • Ensure documentation, procedures, etc are in line with the evolving regulatory framework. • Responsible for correspondence with the regulators like RBI, CICs, MCA and data submissions. Requirements • Analytical reasoning, data analysis, business acumen, credit appraisal and credit monitoring. • Updated on the latest RBI rules and regulations, communication skills, research, understanding of regulatory guidelines. • Good understanding of the credit underwriting process and the ability to set up processes and workflows to ensure faster TAT. • Should embrace technology with a view to automate processes and enhance efficiency. • Ability to own the entire risk framework of the entity and influence stakeholders toward best practices. • Strong team management and team building capabilities. • Ability to represent the organization effectively with all regulatory bodies, statutory auditors, and other key stakeholders. • 8–10 years of experience in risk, credit, & compliance functions in NBFCs or financial institutions. • MBA in Finance/CA/CFA/ACS • Knowledge of law preferred • Relevant experience in risk management and compliance in the Financial services industry.
