Job Title: Ruby on Rails developer

Location: Culver City, CA

Pay rate: $50/hr

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with significant experience focused on Ruby on Rails.
  • Deep expertise in the Ruby language, the Rails framework, and related core libraries/gems.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and MVC architecture.
  • Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL or MySQL) including complex query optimization and database schema design.
  • Expertise in developing and integrating with RESTful APIs and understanding common web security practices.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Stimulus) is a plus.
