Role & responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to identify potential Edtech partners and allied merchants, along with their specific needs.

  • Lead and manage the Business Development and Key Account Management team within this vertical.
  • Responsible for Profit & Loss (P&L) ownership, ensuring the vertical meets its financial targets.
  • Drive presales efforts with merchants, presenting tailored product offerings and negotiating commercial terms based on associated risks.
  • Negotiate, follow up, and close deals in collaboration with legal teams to ensure a swift go live process.
  • Organize induction training sessions and create process documentation when necessary.
  • Provide hands-on support to stabilize merchant relationships during the initial stages of the partnership.
  • Develop and execute strategies for building sales pipelines across monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals.
  • Continuously analyse market trends and competitor strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Data-driven approach to decision-making and performance tracking.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Willingness to travel to merchant locations as needed.
  • Exceptional research and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to create and deliver compelling presentations.
  • Prior experience in Education sales or a background in payment gateway sales is preferred.
  • Digital Lending experience is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in front-end B2B sales.
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to lead and manage a high-performing team.
