Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Educational Counselor to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting students through their educational journeys, helping them navigate academic pathways, and empowering them to achieve their personal and academic goals. As an Educational Counselor, you will work closely with students, parents, and educators to identify individual needs, develop tailored educational plans, and provide resources that foster growth and success. You will conduct assessments to evaluate students' strengths and weaknesses, offer advice on course selection, and assist with career exploration and college readiness. Your expertise and empathetic approach will help create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel valued and understood. In addition to your counseling duties, you will be expected to stay updated on educational trends, policies, and best practices to provide accurate information and advice. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative setting, possess strong communication skills, and be committed to making a difference in the lives of students by helping them overcome obstacles and realize their full potential.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address students' academic and personal challenges.
  • Assist students in developing educational plans that align with their goals and interests.
  • Provide guidance on course selection and help students understand graduation requirements.
  • Evaluate students' strengths and weaknesses through assessments and surveys.
  • Facilitate workshops on topics such as study skills, time management, and career exploration.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to support student success.
  • Stay informed about state and national educational trends, strategies, and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience working in an educational setting or with adolescents preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff.
  • Empathy and a genuine desire to support students' personal and academic growth.
  • Ability to conduct assessments and interpret educational data effectively.
  • Familiarity with college admissions processes and career counseling resources.

Job Types: Part-time, Fresher, Internship, Freelance

Pay: ₹9, ₹31,268.82 per month

Expected hours: 4 per week
