Job Summary: The Restaurant Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas. This role involves supporting the kitchen staff, ensuring hygiene standards are met, and assisting with basic food preparation tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning: Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes are cleaned and sanitized. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, dining areas, and restrooms.
Waste Management: Properly dispose of waste and recyclables. Ensure garbage bins are emptied regularly and kept clean.
Stocking: Assist with receiving and storing deliveries. Ensure kitchen supplies and ingredients are properly stocked and organized.
Support: Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and plating dishes.
Maintenance: Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Restaurant Manager. Ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
Safety: Follow all health and safety regulations. Ensure proper handling and storage of food to prevent contamination.
Teamwork: Work collaboratively with kitchen and dining room staff to ensure smooth operations. Provide support wherever needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
