Position Overview

We are looking for a
versatile and experienced 3D Generalist
to join our growing team. In this role, you will contribute across multiple stages of the 3D production pipeline — including modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, and rendering. You will work closely with our creative leads and supervisors to bring visually stunning and technically sound content to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality 3D assets including characters, environments, and props.
  • Apply textures, shaders, and materials to match artistic direction.
  • Light and render scenes for animation and visual effects.
  • Animate objects or characters when needed for production.
  • Collaborate with other artists and departments to ensure cohesive and efficient workflows.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize scenes for rendering.
  • Adapt to a variety of project styles, tools, and pipelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role within animation, gaming, or VFX industry.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software (e.g., Maya, Blender, Houdini, Cinema 4D).
  • Strong knowledge of texturing tools such as Substance Painter or Mari.
  • Experience with lighting and rendering engines (Arnold, Redshift, V-Ray, or similar).
  • Basic knowledge of rigging and animation principles.
  • Good understanding of the entire 3D pipeline.
  • Strong artistic sense and attention to detail.
  • Ability to take direction, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with compositing tools like After Effects or Nuke.
  • Familiarity with game engines like Unreal Engine.
  • Knowledge of scripting or automation (Python/MEL).
  • Experience in both stylized and photorealistic asset creation.
