Game Designer

Role Overview:
As a Game Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and refining game mechanics, levels, and systems that ensure players have fun and engaging experiences. Youll collaborate closely with artists, developers, producers, and writers to bring game ideas to life and iterate based on player feedback and data.
Key Responsibilities:
Game Concept & Mechanics Design
- Develop innovative gameplay mechanics, systems, and rules that align with the games vision and target audience
- Design levels, missions, challenges, and rewards that balance fun and difficulty
- Create and maintain detailed game design documents (GDDs) and flowcharts
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with artists, developers, sound designers, and producers to implement and iterate on gameplay features
- Communicate design goals clearly and provide constructive feedback during development
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas
Playtesting & Iteration
- Organize and conduct playtests, analyze player feedback, and adjust designs accordingly
- Use analytics tools to understand player behavior and improve game balance and engagement
- Debug gameplay issues and propose solutions
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in mobile game design or live service games
- Familiarity with VR/AR game development
- Basic knowledge of 3D modeling or animation tools
- Experience with data analytics platforms for game telemetry
- Portfolio showcasing previous game design projects or prototypes
